Knowing Your Worthiness

Each one of us is worthy. The only thing that holds us back from that knowledge is ourselves. We are all here to learn and grow, and part of that process involves making mistakes. We can all look back at choices we made with the clarity of hindsight and recognize what the better choice might have been. But did we learn from the situation? That is what is most important.

It doesn’t serve us to hold onto regret or guilt; those emotions only keep us stuck in the past and block us from moving forward and experiencing the happiness we all deserve. It is helpful to look back to acknowledge what a situation taught us, but not to wallow in the negatives. Forgiving ourselves is so important. It is just as important to forgive others and to let go of resentment, which also keep us tied to the past in ways that are unhealthy and prevent us from experiencing the beauty life has to offer.

When you make a mistake, acknowledging it and setting the intention to release it with love and forgiveness to yourself is a powerful way to begin moving forward. Using a similar process to forgive others also helps clear those energies and blockages. The more we forgive ourselves and others, the more we can connect to our sense of self-worth and to an understanding of the unique value we have to offer, both to ourselves and to the world. Now is a time of tremendous karmic clearing, so trust your intuition if you feel like you need to make something right with somebody to clear the energy.

The more we heal, the more we strengthen our connection to what is real, to what is within us—our divine, sacred energy. When we remember that we are sourced from the divine, it is easy to recognize why each one of us is worthy. That is not to say that we are all worthy in the same way, because our individuality means we each have something unique to offer. Every one of us is here to show up in a specific way. By connecting more strongly to our sense of self, we ground further in the knowing of our unique, individual value.

Knowing that we are worthy—of happiness, of thriving, of living a joyful and abundant life—creates powerful shifts in our mindset and in our lives. This knowing guides us along the path to better understanding the reasons we are here and the powerful ways we can show up for ourselves and others. It really changes everything. Our eyes open to new clarity, awareness, and opportunities, and we begin to see ourselves and the world around us in a new light. Every experience and encounter becomes sacred and is an opportunity for joyful expansion, connection, and a chance to create or share or learn something meaningful.

Standing Strong in Your Integrity

Because everything is energy, what you think and feel matters above all. This is because your thoughts and feelings inform your vibration, which equals your point of attraction. It is so important to maintain integrity in your thinking and not allow anything to sway you from your truth, your path, or your highest good. This is a powerful way to healing, as we continue to be self-aware and monitor our thoughts and feelings, catching what is not in alignment with high-vibrational energies and redirecting to what is. You can turn around thoughts of self-doubt to I can accomplish my goals, I am capable of great things, and I have something valuable to offer that will help people in a way that elevates them. This is a choice that you make—to monitor your thoughts and change them for the better. You are powerful beyond measure, and you have free will. This means you have the ability to make the decisions that are in alignment with your highest path and purpose and you have the ability to connect to high-vibrational energies to receive your highest guidance and wisdom.

Integrity applies in every area of your life. Do you help someone when you see them struggling? Do you offer support to those around you who need it? How do you react when someone is not acting from a place of alignment—do you let their lower energy sway you or do you stand in your truth and choose not to respond to those energies? Choosing integrity every time, staying on your path, and always acting from a place of your highest good is so important, as it spreads good energy around you and also strengthens your own. When we realize we are all connected, helping others becomes second nature. Helping others from a place of integrity is key, and it is important to remember that we never know what someone is going through. Everyone’s reality is different, and approaching everyone from a place of non-judgment is especially important. We are all here to experience life in a different way, according to our highest path and purpose.

This life is a journey, and we can choose to be aware and learn everything we can from our experiences, to reflect on them to glean what wisdom and higher understanding we can from them, and to use what we have learned to help others. The way we show up in the world is so important—the way we show up for ourselves and for others creates a tremendous impact that can leave the world a better place.

Using Tarot to Deepen Your Spiritual Connection

Tarot is a wonderful tool for understanding ourselves and the world in which we live, work, and play. We can use it for guidance on any conceivable subject. While I am a firm believer that it should be approached with trust and respect, we can use it to consult on anything that genuinely matters to us and for more general guidance in a given situation. It can help us to navigate with confidence and from a place of understanding the energies that are to come in the days and weeks ahead. In this way, it helps us to better prepare for what is on its way and to make any necessary adjustments.

Now more than ever, we have time to sit with our thoughts, to examine our lives, and consider where making changes would benefit us. Many of us have the opportunity to connect with ourselves and with our spirituality on deeper levels than perhaps ever before. There are many ways to strengthen our spiritual connection, including systems, beliefs, and practices that we may find beneficial to varying degrees. Meditation and yoga can help us practice mindfulness, center our thoughts and being-ness, and open to receive messages, guidance, and wisdom from the divine.

The beauty of using tarot to deepen that connection is that we can ask a question and receive an immediate answer, albeit one we may need to sit with for a while to fully comprehend. Tarot is a medium through which we can tap into understanding and wisdom that is only as limited as our capacity for interpretation. Best of all, when we approach the cards with reverence, trust, and from a centered state in which we intend to receive guidance that is for our highest good or to receive messages from the divine, our guides, or allies, we can connect with energies linked to source and draw from the well of infinite intelligence.

There are so many questions we can ask, depending on our needs and situation, that can help us strengthen our connection to source, our allies, the higher self, and to our own spirituality and intuition. Some of those might be, What guidance is available to me? How can I deepen my connection to source/my allies/my higher self/my intuition? How can I strengthen my trust? Tarot’s strength is in its versatility, which allows it to speak to us on many levels throughout our lives. Because it is based on archetypes that speak to the whole of human experience, it is a guiding light we can turn to anytime we need it.

The Healing Journey

Healing is referred to as a journey because it takes place throughout our lives, and the path is rarely straight. We are many-layered beings, magnificent in our resiliency and in our ability to continually expand in our awareness. We are complex in our depth and extraordinary in our capacity for growth. For everything we know about ourselves, there may be ten thousand more that lie just beyond our awareness. Put simply, we are icebergs, with potential that reaches to depths unfathomable, as we navigate through much of our lives from the more physically focused aspect of our human experience, that forward-looking part of us that hovers above the surface in the realms of conscious awareness.

The series of blog posts that will fall under the umbrella of The Healing Journey will examine healing from a variety of aspects and modalities. There are many ways to heal, and what supports us shifts and changes over time, just as we do. For those reasons, various perspectives will be presented here, from teachers and healers from a variety of backgrounds, with varying methodologies. I will also be weighing in on the subject of healing and will share what has helped me as I have traveled my own journey.

Your questions are welcome. This is designed to be helpful to you, and suggestions for topics and things you are curious about will be considered as subjects for future posts. If you are reading this, you were led here for a reason, and I hope you benefit from the dialogue that is created here.

Love and light,
Victoria

The Wisdom of Tarot

Not surprisingly, The World card comes in for the collective today, coinciding with this weekend’s new moon. New moons are a time of seeding intentions, a time that supports the writing out—and speaking aloud—of the things we wish to breathe into being. This card aligns with the new moon energy perfectly. It tells of promising new beginnings and a new cycle coming into existence. This is a time in which we are powerfully supported by these universal energies—in which success, accolades, honors, and achievements can all be ours.

So often, the cards we receive align in this way, so perfectly with the supporting energies, whether those energies are universal or personal. This tells us something. Tarot holds a particular wisdom. It reveals the unseen, the energies and hidden dynamics that are working on our behalf behind the scenes, and the groundwork that is being laid for us. It holds up a mirror to show us where we can improve and where we are headed, given the current circumstances.

Looked at another way, everything is attraction. We live in an attraction universe. The tenet of the Law of Attraction, a sibling to the Law of Gravity, is simply this: that which is like unto itself is drawn. The cards we attract show us where we are, reflect our current vibration, revealing to us what we are attracting into our lives.

That is, perhaps, tarot’s highest purpose. This form of divination is a mirror reflecting back to us our own state of being. The beauty of knowing where we currently stand is that we can shift our vibration, our focus, at any time. We can always redirect, reroute, and change course. We can always change our minds. We are never locked into any specific endeavor.

Life is a palette of contrasts, a magnificent artist’s toolkit with seemingly infinite variety. We get to sift through all the materials at our disposal and determine what it is we want to create, where we are headed next, what we are reaching for as we grow, change, and evolve.

It is an infinite dance we are participating in, one of continual seeking and finding, desiring and receiving, as we climb the ladder of our own growth and evolution. And we can thank the tarot for being a guiding light along the way.
