As the thirty-first day of the first month, today may see us celebrating with friends and family, both near and far, and enjoying aspects of manifestation, even if they are only new ideas and desires. The moment a new idea or goal comes into our conscious awareness, we can rest assured that it is ready to be borne into our experience. We are guided to take time for enjoyment of life today. This can be as simple as painting or drawing, writing or journaling, listening to music, baking, taking a walk, engaging in self-care rituals, appreciating beauty in any of its many forms, or soaking up the sunshine.

Adding up all of the numbers in today’s date brings us ten. We may be reaching stages of fulfillment and seeing completion on projects, as well as the conclusion of certain phases—energetic, emotional, and physical. The aspects of ten as well as this being the last day of the month ushers in energies of closure and release. We will benefit from taking some time to release today in ritual, which can be as simple as meditating, lighting a candle, or writing down intentions. If we aren’t sure how to let go or what we need to let go of, we will benefit from asking our allies in the light for guidance, knowing that it is surely forthcoming in answer to our asking.

There is a carefree aspect to today that relates to letting go. When we allow ourselves to have fun, we let go of worries, cares, and concerns, even if only for a moment. We are asked to do this more, to allow ourselves this freedom, as it benefits us so much more than wallowing in heaviness. We each have the ability to rise up out of the muck and anything that has been weighing us down. We can reach the flow state in so many ways—conversations with friends, laughter, physical exercise, creating art, and music being just a few avenues. There is also great pleasure in considering how we would like to restructure our lives, given the complete freedom and unlimited resources to do so. Today, allow yourself to dream, even if only for a moment.

Mantra: I welcome love, laughter, beauty, joy, and celebration into my life and my heart. I honor and appreciate the goodness in my life.

Tuning Into the Heart

The value of tuning into the heart is immense. The heart is the seat of the soul, and when we attune to our hearts, we tap into our own greatest wisdom, to our integral truth, and to infinite intelligence. Yet, it is not always easy to tune in. When our hearts are heavy and filled with the weight of the past or present circumstances, and with heavy energies like guilt, sorrow, and regret, it can block us from receiving our highest guidance, which is always present within us. In order to attune to this and receive the guidance that will allow us to live our best possible lives and our highest possibilities, we have to clear those heavy energies. We hear a lot about letting go, but less about exactly how to do this. It isn’t always instinctive or natural or easy for us to let go, especially when we’ve been carrying around energies for a long time or have unprocessed emotions.

A helpful first step is getting clear on what it is we need to process and what we are still holding onto. We can hold onto energies and heavy emotions for years without being aware that we are still harboring them. They can find hidden places within us, which is where meditation can be extremely helpful, as it helps to shift our energy and clears out the old baggage, even if we are not aware that is what is happening. Journaling is helpful when we are processing emotions, especially when we begin by setting an intention, such as the desire to gain clarity on what needs to go or what is holding us back, how to process old wounds, or releasing the weight of the past.

We are blessed as humans in this manifested physical experience to have allies both in the physical and nonphysical. Archangel Raphael, a master healer, is a great ally in the nonphysical whom we can call on at any time. His color is green, coinciding with the color of the heart chakra. Archangel Raphael can help us to heal our hearts and clear any blockages we may have. When we wear certain colors, like green, we are drawing their energetic properties to us. Wearing green or surrounding ourselves in green when we are on a healing path can be helpful. Similarly, any green crystals, jewelry, or artwork can bring in healing energies to us or the space around us. One option is to create a green room or area where you live that is a space decorated with green objects. This can be a place where you meditate, journal, or engage in other activities that support your healing journey.

Aromatherapy and music are powerful allies, as are the elements and the elemental energies. Water is a masterful healer and a powerful cleanser. Water has many properties—it is a conduit and is powerfully transformative. It also aids us in letting go. Cleansing in water has been a long-held practice through the ages. We see evidence of this in baptism and water ceremonies. When we shower or bathe, not only are we cleansing ourselves physically, but also energetically. When we support this cleansing with our intentions, it is even more powerful. We can take salt baths (dissolving Epsom salts in bath water) and set the intention of being cleansed and recharged energetically.

Beyond the physical act of cleansing in water, we can also call on the energies of water to purify us energetically and to help us let go of and release any emotions we are holding onto. We can do this through sitting in meditation (in water or not) and asking the element of water to support us in healing, clearing, releasing, and transmuting any and all energies that do not serve our highest good. Likewise, we can call on the element of air to cleanse us energetically. Doing this while out in nature, especially on a windy day, can have powerful positive effects. Among other things, the element of air can cleanse our ear chakras of any energies that are not serving our highest good and can increasingly open us up to the ability to hear our guides and allies in spirit.

Meditating with crystals is another method that supports us in tuning into the heart. Green crystals especially are useful in this regard. We are blessed with a myriad assortment of green crystals on this planet; looking up their properties can be helpful in guiding you to a selection, or you may wish to simply allow your intuition to guide you when choosing one to meditate with. Crystals can also support us when we are journaling. Simply having one nearby or wearing one as jewelry or placed in a pocket can help us to receive its benefits.

The healing journey is unique, personal, and individual to each person. It also varies according to our particular life circumstances, situations, and previous experiences. Some of us are healing family karma or wounds through the family lineage, in addition to our own personal energies. What is important is that we take ownership of our healing, set the intentions to heal, and put in the work—whether through meditation, journaling, therapy, or whatever methods are resonant. Spirit reminds us that we are never alone, and our allies in the nonphysical are always ready to help. They are simply waiting on us to call on them for guidance and support. As we continue to attend to our own needs, engage in self-care, and do things that support our healing path, we start to see results over time. We are asked to be patient with ourselves and know that we all heal at our own pace, and however fast or slow it happens is just right for us.

On this ninth day of the first month, we are in a waning moon phase, headed quickly toward the new moon. Waning moons are times of release and clearing, and these energies, coupled with the nine of today’s date, facilitates endings and closure. We are being asked to surrender, in faith and trust to the divine, all that has been holding us back, and to release all obstacles to the loving hands of the universe for healing and transmutation. Saturdays are ruled by Saturn and are optimal times for clearing and letting go of what does not serve our highest good. Together with the waning moon phase and today’s nine, this day is a powerful time of healing and growth. Today, setting the intention to release all that does not serve us sets forth a powerful catalyst of clearing and transmutation that rapidly gathers momentum to sow the seeds of our intentions in the fertile womb of the forthcoming new moon. As we clear and release from now until the new moon, we are making room for what is new and fertile and for our highest good to prepare to enter our lives.

Adding up all of the numbers in today’s date brings us fifteen, and six. Fifteen carries aspects of change that is helping us to grow and expand in opportunities and in our own abilities. We may also be facing certain choices that will impact us in ways beyond our present understanding and awareness. Taking guided action, according to our highest guidance and intuition, is indicated now. The number six is a strong aspect of today and brings energies of harmony, stability, and balance. Tuning in, we may feel guided toward actions and setting goals that improve the balance in our lives and strengthen our connections in harmonious ways. We are asked to consider how we can bring greater harmony to our relationships, not only with others, but also with ourselves, and how we can instill more balance in our daily routines and in our homes. Beauty is indicated now; beauty is an aspect of divine creation that can bring us joy, deep gratitude, and peace. Bringing more beauty into your space, surrounding yourself with beauty, being in nature, and enhancing the environments around you so that they are more relaxing and pleasing to you are ways of positively impacting the energy around you. This in turn has positive effects on your own state of mind and energy, as well as on your ability to create from a deeper, more relaxed space.

Mantra: I allow all that does not serve my highest good to clear, release, and transmute. I welcome healing and the highest light to take its place.

On Letting Go

Much has been written about the importance of letting go, but in practice, it is easier said than done. Let go, yes—but how?

As many of us already know, holding onto something anchors us with its heavy weight to past circumstances or relationships, and keeps us in the same unsavory energy that the past moments or energy held. A situation or relationship is a container of energy, similar to a room. When we keep thinking of something or someone in the past over and over, it circulates the energy within that room and perpetuates its momentum, keeping it alive and active within us and within our vibrational field, which also attracts more of the same circumstances to us. If we keep coming back to the same past event, relationship, or circumstances, this is a sign that we may have unhealed wounds around it and energetic cording that keeps us attached to it. This creates an energy leak that saps our vitality and life force, and drains our creative energy. Many times, it also prevents us from moving on into something better and into a happier life and strong, rewarding relationships.

There are many ways we can go about letting go, moving on, and healing. The methods that work for you depend on many factors, including what you respond to, the depth of healing needed, and your readiness to move on, to name a few. Beginning with setting the intention that you wish to heal and move on from the particular energies, situation, or relationship is the first and most important step. When you make this declaration, whether by writing it down, meditating on it, or speaking it aloud, you are setting forth the energy of intention to release, clear, and heal. This in turn establishes a momentum that will continue to build and grow. Calling on your team of light, your allies in spirit, is always recommended. Archangel Michael is a powerful ally when it comes to clearing, release, and cord-cutting, and can help you with letting go. Archangel Raphael is a master healer who works with the heart and will help you to heal on all levels. We have only to ask for the assistance of our allies, and they are ready to support us immediately. Because we have free will, they cannot interfere and so are awaiting our request.

One method of clearing cords is to first get into a meditative state and call in your allies for protection, strength, and support. You can begin by visualizing a protective sphere of golden light surrounding you on all sides, three feet above and three feet below you, and around you in a sphere that reaches past your fingertips when you have your arms outstretched. Eyes closed, you can visualize or feel where any cords might be connected to you. Do you feel pressure in a certain area of your body? Depending on your particular abilities, you may be able to see it or have a knowing of where it is. Consider its significance in light of where it is located. Something connected to the sacral chakra can be tied to past romantic relationships; if it is near the heart, it could be associated with heartbreak; something near the root chakra could be related to familial connections or your sense of security and stability; something in the back could be related to backstabbing; if it is around the throat, it could indicate a person or situation who tried to prevent you from speaking your truth or a time when your voice was not heard or was misrepresented. Often, gaining clarity on a cord’s significance can help us to begin the process of clearing. Sometimes, you may know exactly to what person or situation it is connected. The person or past events may come up in your mind as a way of telling you that something needs to be healed there. You can visualize the cord filling with golden light and gently dissolving. Once it is gone, send love and healing to the area of your body where it was, and see that area filling with golden light and then mending as it heals over. You may wish to send love to the situation and anyone connected with it. You can call on your allies to support you through any part of this process, then thank them when you are done.

It can help to follow this with writing down what needs to be released. You can then burn the paper as a way of symbolically and energetically letting it go and releasing it to the universe to be cleared and transmuted so that you can begin your process of healing. Remember to be kind to yourself during the healing process, and to remember that healing is a journey. Journaling can be a therapeutic tool. Writing down what wisdom you learned from the experience can help you to gain clarity. You can also write down how you would like to move forward and how you would like your next experiences to be better as a way of setting intentions and bringing in positive energy to replace the energy that you have cleared or are clearing. Emotional release can be powerfully cleansing; honoring your need to let go of past emotions through tears or any other method that is brimming to the surface is incredibly therapeutic. We are not meant to stifle our emotions or keep them inside, as this only prevents us from letting go and builds the energy until, one day, the dam bursts. Taking salt baths and walks in nature can also be helpful, as these methods can help restore us energetically and bring us energetic purification and greater clarity. You may find that talking with a trusted friend or spending time with animals is helpful. Art may be your master healer; you don’t even have to be very good at it! Some find great solace in listening to music or playing a musical instrument. Getting in the flow state, however we reach it, helps us to process and heal on levels that we are often not consciously aware of. Feeling joy and allowing ourselves to experience laughter and fun are some of the best therapies in existence. Above all, trust your instinct when it comes to the methods you feel will be helpful to you.

Taking the time to really go deep and examine the emotions behind a situation, and what we are still holding onto, can be exactly what we need. Are we holding onto something for fear of letting go? Would we feel guilty for moving on? Behind our resistance to releasing something is sometimes the need to feel secure. When we examine something in depth, it can force us to look at what we don’t want to look at and can shake our sense of stability. Life was just fine; why look under the rug? The thing to remember is that you owe it to yourself to sweep out the debris of your life so that you can stand on truly solid footing. And sometimes, that means taking a deep look at some heavy subjects and memories so that you can dredge them up out of the waters of your subconscious and clear them out for good. It’s important that we pay attention to our feelings. What is ready to be released has a way of bobbing back up to the surface repeatedly until we get out the scuba gear and the net and take a deep dive to fish it out of the waters and cast it out for good. We owe ourselves that. We deserve to live our best possible lives, free and clear and unencumbered by the past.

Some may find that letting go is a decision. It often starts with the desire to heal and move on from something. This establishes an intention energetically, and when you follow that with a clearly stated intention, whether spoken or written, it adds more power to the momentum of your desire and keeps it building and growing as you go through the process. You may feel guided to take certain steps along the way to facilitate your journey. We are all unique, and we all heal in different ways. What’s most important is to honor yourself throughout the process. Making time for yourself, however hectic your schedule may be, is crucial. There are times when we need to put ourselves first. When we allow ourselves the time and space to process and heal, we can show up as better and more authentic versions of ourselves, both for us and for the people in our lives.

Today is the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month. Twenty-seven can be a number of receiving positive karmic rewards you have fulfilled in the past. It can also indicate positive news and messages coming your way. This numeric combination tells of good fortune attained through cooperation, balance, and partnerships, whether through co-creators and allies on the physical plane or in the nonphysical. It indicates achievements through work well done and is a number of success and congratulations. It can also offer encouragement to pursue a field of study or to deepen your understanding in areas of interest to you by taking classes and reading books on subjects that draw your attention. When we are upleveling, we are guided to seek out knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and to seek answers to questions and anything we have been curious about. This can help to broaden our horizons, deepen our understanding and knowledge, and enhance our perception. The newfound knowledge we gain can help to shape our future in meaningful ways and can help us to align with or discover our life purpose and soul mission.

The nine resulting from the combination of two and seven lends energies of conclusions and of leaving the past behind. It signifies a departure from, or the need to depart from, what is not working for us or in alignment with who and where we are now, and that which does not serve our highest good. Nine is a number of expansion and, like seven, indicates our alignment with and awareness of our life purpose and soul mission. Nine is also a number of the lightworker and encourages those who feel they have a greater purpose here on this planet to begin examining their areas of interest, as those can be strong indicators of what we are meant to do. As nine can indicate endings, it may be guidance to start putting forth our efforts, energies, and intentions toward seeking a life of greater purpose. As we seek to live in greater fulfillment, we will start to notice what is falling away and it will become clear what has served its purpose and what has no place in our future. Always, we are guided to connect to our intuition and feel into our emotions; what brings us joy is our true north, our internal compass or navigation system telling us which way to go. When we move toward what feels good or makes us happy, we are moving in alignment with our higher purpose and in accordance with our divine nature.

Adding up all of the numbers in today’s date brings us sixteen, and seven. Sixteen indicates new beginnings and manifestations that bring greater harmony, stability, and balance to our earthly lives. The seven appearing again as the complete reduced number of today’s date brings forth the strongest energies for today, which are good fortune, intuition, intellectual pursuits, determination, and spiritual growth and expansion. Tuning into the intuition is especially supported and rewarded today; doing so may yield long-sought answers or valuable messages, wisdom, information, and guidance from our inner being and team in spirit. We are asked to set the intention that we will only work with the highest energies of the light and to protect our spaces to ensure we are receiving the highest information from a place of truth and clarity. The divine embodies the truth. As we seek only the answers that serve our highest good, we are asked to support this with maintaining high levels of energetic cleanliness, which we can support by keeping our thoughts positive, uplifting, and pure. We can further support our energetic strength by living, thinking, acting, and speaking with integrity.

Mantra: I release what has served its purpose with love and compassion. I welcome what is meant for me in accordance with my highest good. Only what is for my highest good may enter my experience.

Today is the twenty-fifth day of the twelfth month. The two and five in today’s date bring forth energies of co-creating change. We are strongly supported in reaching a point of clarity on the changes we wish to see in our lives and in setting goals for the year ahead. We are reminded that we are never alone. Each one of us has a team of loving, supportive beings of light backing us every step of the way, along with our higher self. We are also reminded that everything is always working out for us, regardless of how things may look on the surface. We are being guided every step of the way to the life we desire; we have only to open our hearts and receive. When we believe in ourselves and in our worthiness—and each one of us is worthy, regardless of our choices in the past—we are elevated in every way, and we also allow ourselves to come closer to receiving all that we desire. As we release the past with love and compassion, we make room to invite in the good.

Adding up all of the numbers in today’s date brings us fourteen, and five. Fourteen is a number of manifesting solid foundations, as well as opportunities and new ideas that support us for the future. Five further underscores the energies of change that are so prevalent today. Five also indicates expansion, freedom, empowerment, and flexibility. Being flexible doesn’t mean tucking tail and giving in, but rather being adaptable and flowing with the path of least resistance in the knowing that the universe is always conspiring in our favor. ‘Adapt or die’ is a phrase that comes to mind. Rigidity is associated with non-movement, death, and stagnation, and while there are times for us to stand strong and immovable in our strength, there is a distinction between standing our ground and going with the flow, and we are guided to be discerning in knowing when to choose one or the other. Tuning into our intuition is always our greatest ally as we seek to make the choices that are best for us.

We are expanding in our spiritual growth, knowledge, and understanding. We do much work on the etheric planes when we are sleeping, and accomplish much soul work in this way. Keeping a dream journal is recommended, as looking back on it later can be deeply enlightening. This can help with revealing repeating themes and patterns, and disparate dreams can weave a tapestry that together tell a whole story and provide a bigger picture, or bird’s-eye view, that can unveil deep and invaluable understandings and guidance for our life path. Noticing also the unbidden thoughts that come into the mind in the form of ideas, messages, remembered conversations or events, imagery, or songs can be revealing. This is a way that spirit communicates with us—our guides and higher self may send us information and messages in this way. Noticing also where our thoughts are not serving us is very important now, as they are evidence of where we need to rewrite our habits of thought and patterns of thinking, as well as our self-talk. We are asked to come back to the remembrance of our worthiness and purpose for this lifetime, and to move forward in confidence, kindness, and compassion.

Mantra: I welcome the growth and change that serves my highest good to transform me in positive ways. It is easy for me to attune to my truth and my intuition, and to the messages that come from a place of truth.

Today is the eighteenth day of the eleventh month. Eighteen brings forth the manifestation of opportunities and abundance, as well as new beginnings that increase prosperity and strengthen financial foundations. Today also carries an aspect of release, as the one and eight add up to nine, a number that reminds us of the importance of letting go of what does not serve. It’s time to let go of the old so we can make room for something better. Improved conditions on all levels are possible for us. We are guided to feel into ways we can enrich our experience and are asked to be aware of any blocks or resistance and clear those so we can open up to receive.

The numbers in today’s date add up to six, a number of integrity, justice, honesty, truth, stability, grace, harmony, and balance. Six can also indicate growth in these areas. Today carries an element of taking time to appreciate beauty, and making improvements to our environment. When we clear clutter, we improve the energy flow around us, which impacts our own energy and our ability to think, focus, and perceive with clarity. A clean environment also improves our mood and has an immediate impact on our ability to perceive and function optimally. Once we create optimal surroundings, we can more easily experience enjoyment and feelings of levity and freedom, which are some key ways we can get into the receiving mode and allow in everything we have asked for. Moments of joy and lightheartedness shift the energy powerfully in ways that allow what we desire to flow to us quickly.

Just as we would clear clutter from our physical environment, we are also asked to clear energetic and mental clutter. First creating a clean, harmonious, and organized  physical environment strongly supports us in our ability to clear energetically. Today’s guidance is to tune into the heart and the mind, and to seek out anything that is disharmonious or creating static or heaviness. Releasing mental chatter may be important for many of you. Breathing deeply for several minutes every day with the intention of releasing any energies for transmutation (healing) is a powerful way of clearing, healing, and regaining your center. Exploring the natural world, even for a few moments every day, can shift your energy in positive ways. Grounding by releasing energy that does not serve you down into the core of the earth for transmutation is an important daily practice that strengthens your energy more over time.

Mantra: I release and clear what does not serve me and allow what is for my highest good to flow to me with ease. I receive with love and gratitude.

Today is the ninth day of the eleventh month. Nine is a number of endings, release, conclusions, and letting go. It can shine a light on what isn’t working and what is on its way out. It has a way of laying bare what needs to go and any areas where we might be doing ourselves a disservice. Today might bring us circumstances and situations that place those things in our awareness, front and center. Paying attention to overheard snippets of conversation or messages that pop up could shed light and may be messages from the universe that have hidden or multiple meanings. Your guides may be directing your attention to certain things; it can be beneficial to contemplate the meanings if they are not readily apparent.

The numbers in today’s date add up to six, a joyful number of empathy, peace, growth, healing, family, harmony, and balance. Today may bring opportunities to connect or reconnect with loved ones and heal emotional wounds, have conversations that need to be had, and to lay things out in the open. The general feeling is: Here is what bothers me, here is the past, here is what isn’t working for me. How can we fix it? Where do we go from here? These very important, and sometimes heart-pounding, conversations are necessary in order for us to heal and grow emotionally and to strengthen our support networks and foundations. Remembering that the family can be a strong foundation and source of support may be helpful.

We may find allies in unexpected places. Honor yourself by tuning into the energy of others and being selective who you choose to be around and where you choose to go. Protecting yourself begins with guarding your energy and putting your thoughts only toward the positive to ensure you attract only positive and high-vibrational energies (which includes people, circumstances, situations, and outcomes). This is also a powerful form of self-love.

Mantra: I release what does not serve me with love and transmute it into the highest form of energy. I am always safe and protected. I send healing and unconditional love to everyone around me.

Knowing Your Worthiness

Each one of us is worthy. The only thing that holds us back from that knowledge is ourselves. We are all here to learn and grow, and part of that process involves making mistakes. We can all look back at choices we made with the clarity of hindsight and recognize what the better choice might have been. But did we learn from the situation? That is what is most important.

It doesn’t serve us to hold onto regret or guilt; those emotions only keep us stuck in the past and block us from moving forward and experiencing the happiness we all deserve. It is helpful to look back to acknowledge what a situation taught us, but not to wallow in the negatives. Forgiving ourselves is so important. It is just as important to forgive others and to let go of resentment, which also keep us tied to the past in ways that are unhealthy and prevent us from experiencing the beauty life has to offer.

When you make a mistake, acknowledging it and setting the intention to release it with love and forgiveness to yourself is a powerful way to begin moving forward. Using a similar process to forgive others also helps clear those energies and blockages. The more we forgive ourselves and others, the more we can connect to our sense of self-worth and to an understanding of the unique value we have to offer, both to ourselves and to the world. Now is a time of tremendous karmic clearing, so trust your intuition if you feel like you need to make something right with somebody to clear the energy.

The more we heal, the more we strengthen our connection to what is real, to what is within us—our divine, sacred energy. When we remember that we are sourced from the divine, it is easy to recognize why each one of us is worthy. That is not to say that we are all worthy in the same way, because our individuality means we each have something unique to offer. Every one of us is here to show up in a specific way. By connecting more strongly to our sense of self, we ground further in the knowing of our unique, individual value.

Knowing that we are worthy—of happiness, of thriving, of living a joyful and abundant life—creates powerful shifts in our mindset and in our lives. This knowing guides us along the path to better understanding the reasons we are here and the powerful ways we can show up for ourselves and others. It really changes everything. Our eyes open to new clarity, awareness, and opportunities, and we begin to see ourselves and the world around us in a new light. Every experience and encounter becomes sacred and is an opportunity for joyful expansion, connection, and a chance to create or share or learn something meaningful.
