Knowing Your Worthiness

Each one of us is worthy. The only thing that holds us back from that knowledge is ourselves. We are all here to learn and grow, and part of that process involves making mistakes. We can all look back at choices we made with the clarity of hindsight and recognize what the better choice might have been. But did we learn from the situation? That is what is most important.

It doesn’t serve us to hold onto regret or guilt; those emotions only keep us stuck in the past and block us from moving forward and experiencing the happiness we all deserve. It is helpful to look back to acknowledge what a situation taught us, but not to wallow in the negatives. Forgiving ourselves is so important. It is just as important to forgive others and to let go of resentment, which also keep us tied to the past in ways that are unhealthy and prevent us from experiencing the beauty life has to offer.

When you make a mistake, acknowledging it and setting the intention to release it with love and forgiveness to yourself is a powerful way to begin moving forward. Using a similar process to forgive others also helps clear those energies and blockages. The more we forgive ourselves and others, the more we can connect to our sense of self-worth and to an understanding of the unique value we have to offer, both to ourselves and to the world. Now is a time of tremendous karmic clearing, so trust your intuition if you feel like you need to make something right with somebody to clear the energy.

The more we heal, the more we strengthen our connection to what is real, to what is within us—our divine, sacred energy. When we remember that we are sourced from the divine, it is easy to recognize why each one of us is worthy. That is not to say that we are all worthy in the same way, because our individuality means we each have something unique to offer. Every one of us is here to show up in a specific way. By connecting more strongly to our sense of self, we ground further in the knowing of our unique, individual value.

Knowing that we are worthy—of happiness, of thriving, of living a joyful and abundant life—creates powerful shifts in our mindset and in our lives. This knowing guides us along the path to better understanding the reasons we are here and the powerful ways we can show up for ourselves and others. It really changes everything. Our eyes open to new clarity, awareness, and opportunities, and we begin to see ourselves and the world around us in a new light. Every experience and encounter becomes sacred and is an opportunity for joyful expansion, connection, and a chance to create or share or learn something meaningful.

Sending Peace and Healing to the World: A Meditation

Soul Cards by Kristine Fredheim

Now more than ever, it is important for us to focus on healing. Everyone, including light workers, has an obligation to do the inner work, to heal ourselves first, before we show up for anyone else, and to notice, on an ongoing basis, what comes to the surface to be processed and cleared, to be acknowledged and healed. It is so important that when we are done processing and clearing, we invite the energies we wish to embody, such as peace, healing, and divine light, or whatever it is we need. Compassion is something that is so needed right now and, like any other energy we invite in, we can set the intention of integrating it into our field. There are many ways to do this, but here is one meditation that works for me. Of course, you can adjust it as you like.

To begin, go to a quiet space where you will have privacy (away from distractions and furry friends). To enter the meditative space, sit comfortably with your eyes closed and focus on your breath. Breathe deeply and envision your energy field as a sphere that surrounds you past the outer layer of your aura, which extends past the tips of your fingers when you have your arms outstretched. Breathe in light, then exhale it into your field. Do this for as long as you need to fill your energy field entirely with light. Then imagine this sphere of energy surrounded with a layer of protection. You can set the intention that this protective layer allows in only energies that serve your highest good, and that all else immediately bounces off and is returned to sender via Source. I recommend re-energizing and strengthening this boundary every day.

Once you feel your protective layer is stabilized, you can envision low-vibrational energies and energies that do not serve your highest good clearing and releasing. If specific situations come to mind, know that they are rising to the surface to be released. Notice any energy you feel. You can release unwanted energies by naming them specifically; for example, you can say (to yourself is fine) something like, “I clear and release all energies of anxiety.” Or, “I release this situation with love. It is no longer part of my energy and it is now cleared and transmuted.” If you can feel energy, you may feel a physical sensation of something lifting from you each time you do this. You can call on your allies to support as you go through the energies and situations one at a time and ask that they transmute the energy into the highest form of light. When you feel clear, you can invite the energies of healing, peace, divine light, and compassion, or any energies you choose, and set the intention that they integrate into your field (your allies will help with this).

Once you feel the energy is stable, you can begin to send healing to the planet by envisioning, setting the intention, or asking your allies to release all energies from the planet that do not serve the highest good of humanity and ask that they are transmuted into the highest possible form of light. You can then send peace, healing, and compassion to everyone around the world. I like to envision this as light surrounding the entire globe that sends the energy to everyone who is willing to receive it. You can ask your allies, the universal forces, the angels, Source, or whomever you feel guided to call on to support you in sending out and integrating this energy.

One type of healing that is so needed right now is ancestral. When we enter into a physical body, we also enter into a family lineage whose past experiences are encoded into our DNA. With that lineage comes family karma. We can set the intention to clear and release family karma and clear ancestral energies that do not serve our highest good, and to clear the energies that are ready to be released, that do not have any place on the planet, that are holding us back from elevating into our highest path and potential, and that are keeping us from living in alignment and in our highest truth. Archangel Michael is a powerful ally to call on when performing this type of clearing, but of course, you can call on any allies you wish. Doing this work in the meditative space helps to focus the mind and our efforts so that we can draw on our power to release these energies from ourselves and from the planet for good as we welcome in healing, unity, and compassion.

We are all one, and the more we realize that we are all in this together as spiritual beings experiencing a human existence, the more we will be able to heal and make powerful forward progress, so that we can expand and grow as individuals and as a collective. When we look at others through this lens of oneness, we experience life differently. We have more compassion and are more willing to help others because we understand that the good of one is the good of all.

Healing with Tarot

Reading tarot can bring wisdom and enlightenment, and the cards are often a guiding light for us, showing us the way out of dark places, out of the muck and confusion we sometimes find ourselves caught in. If you find yourself there, it can be helpful to take a moment to just breathe and sit in stillness, coming back to yourself, back to your own awareness and acknowledging whatever thoughts come to you.

Whatever you are thinking about is an indicator of your vibrational standpoint, and becoming aware of this is helpful in showing you what you need to clear, what energies you are still holding onto, and any limiting beliefs you may have running in your subconscious or in the background that you weren’t consciously aware of.

Breathe through whatever comes up and release it simply by holding the intention of releasing it. Then replace it with the thoughts, beliefs, or energies you want to have instead, such as joy, peace, health, wisdom, alignment, clarity, or prosperity–or all of the above. Even simply thinking those words over and over will bring their energies into your vibrational field.

According to Abraham-Hicks, it takes 17 seconds to get the momentum going and for law of attraction to pick up on something. Simply sitting with thoughts of peace, joy, and abundance for as little as 17 seconds can start making a difference in your energy, thoughts, and emotions. It also shifts your vibrational standpoint, which is key considering that you attract whatever you are feeling, whatever is in your vibration.

When we do this important inner work, tarot can be a helpful tool in showing us how we have shifted our vibration through the cards that come up. These can show us what we are attracting and what is coming next based on the current state of things.

Spiritual teacher Cristina Aroche teaches that healing is a lifelong journey, that we are always healing. Like peeling the layers of an onion, we heal on deeper and deeper levels. As you go through this process, it is important to be patient with yourself, to love yourself, and let yourself feel through everything so you can let it go for good, keeping, of course what supports you and releasing what no longer serves.
